I am a graduate student in applied statistics at Hangzhou Dianzi University, China. And I expect to graduate in April, 2022. My Master advisor is Dr. Wensheng Wang. Before that, I did my bachelors at school of science & school of economics, HDU. Concat me: zhouchangkai@hdu.edu.cn.

Research Interests

  • Gaussian process regression
  • Bayesian neural networks
  • Bioinspired learning
  • Non-equilibrium phenomena
  • Statistical methods for complex systems
  • My research interests lie at the intersection of Bayesian statistics, machine learning, and biological complexity. I have been in touch with probabilistic methods, approximate inference, generative models, deep neural networks, Bayesian nonparametrics. Three questions I want to study in the near future: (1) What kind of characteristics can the combination of Gaussian process regression and Bayesian neural networks reflect, reveal, or explain? (2) Can or how can the combination of deep learning, probabilistic models, and bioinspired learning reflect the biocomplexity such as neurons? (3) What is the superiority of biocomplexity and its enlightenment to statistics?
